In that year two of the cast, Kier Davie and Paul Winterton were honoured by Ralph by being selected to augment the London Gang for the Royal Command performance.</strong></em></font></p> <p><font color="#000000"><em><strong>In the following years the Gangshow has been performed at many places in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area including Theatre Royal ( now demolished), A.B.C. cinema Cleethorpes ( now demolished and replace by a fast food outlet) and Cleethorpes Pier Pavillion (now Pier 39 night club) until after the 1965 show production was suspended for several years. However, the demand for the Gang Show still existed and in 1970 Keir Davie and Norris Alderson revived the Show at the Pier Pavillion, From then , with the exception of 1973 when it went to Hereford School, the Show was staged annually on the Pier.</strong></em></font></p> <p><em><strong>We had our dress rehearsal on the Sunday and the first performance on the Monday, which was OAPs night'. We then went through to Saturday where we had a matinee in the afternoon followed by a break for tea and some time spent in Wonder Land ( also alas no-more )"you didn't half get some funny looks if you didn't get all your makeup off" and then a night performance</strong></em></p> <p><font color="#000000"><em><strong>In those days the gangshow uniform was all white shorts, socks, plimsoles, t-shirts, with shorts for the boys and </strong></em></font><a href="http://www.grimsbygang.freewebsites.com/1977.jpeg"><img src="1977.gif" alt="1977" align="right" border="0" hspace="0" vspace="3" width="195" height="90"></a><font color="#000000"><em><strong>tennis skirts for the girls. the membership for that year was very much more boys than girls. In the latter part of the 1980s the rehearsal uniform changed to Dark trousers and a red T-shirt or sweat-shirt with GS Grimsby on the upper Left side, in 1989 the logo was changed to the GS Grimsby surfing a wave, the wave contains the first few bars of Crest.The cast now contains more girls than boys although most of them are Scouts with </strong></em></font><a href="cast99.jpeg"><img src="cast99s.jpg" alt="1999" align="left" border="0" hspace="0" vspace="3" width="272" height="121"></a> <font color="#000000"><em><strong>Guides adding a good balance in the Show</strong></em></font></p> <p><font color="#000000"><em><strong>When the Pier closed down The show moved to the Central Hall in Duncolme St Grimsby and the following year it moved again to the Memorial hall Cleethorpes were it remained up-to 1992 when moved to the Ice House Christian centre for 3 years, We then moved to the new Grimsby Auditorium ( the acoustics are better in the entrance than they are on stage ) there we have remained.</strong></em></font><br> <br> <font color="#000000"><em><strong>. This logo has to be won by the standard of Show presented over the years; it has to be deserved, and is regarded as an honour when presented to a show</strong></font></p> <h2 align="center"><font
