| I remember my first GS was at Hereford School and we changed in the Music rooms. The shows at the pier were the best.. | |
| We had two dress rehersals on Sunday,Pensioner on Monday, and two shows on the Saturday. A very full week. | |
| It was always a rush to get the 'Finale' finished so we could rush to the Bar for a lemonade (!'). | |
| Saturday afternoons after the tea at 1st or 3rd Clee scout huts we all wondered down to 'wounderland' for some fun.All in uniform and | |
| with those silly red dots in our eyes. | |
| One of the best memories was being able to meet ' Ralf '. It was all kept quiet because he was ill and it wasn't confirmed that he would make it. | |
| He had written a very formal number for the girls, in the London GS. All in ballet outfits. Then when he saw Dave Stagg and myself , and others | |
| performing the same piece, in Dr Martins & Tu tu's . This made him smile | |
